Arquiteta

The Arquema studio was founded in 2015 by architect Ema Castro Alves. Rooted in a minimalist approach, the practice develops an architecture where form and function coexist in balance.

Its projects are defined by spatial clarity, while remaining firmly grounded in architectural theory and the urban context in which they are set. The aim is to capture the essence of place and of architecture itself, expressing it in its purest form: a restrained set of geometric rules used to create structures where life unfolds in all its complexity.
